Unit description
Introduces students to the culture of academic enquiry. The skills developed in this unit focus on self management and critical thinking, academic reading, writing, and academic integrity.

Managing self and growth mindset
Finding, evaluating, critically analysing texts
The culture of writing in a university context
The culture of learning in a university context including awareness of academic integrity
Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit.
