Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
Critically reflect on and identify leadership skills for ethical, strategic, innovative and flexible delivery within the ECEC context.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge and competence to apply the National Quality Framework, National Children’s Services Regulations, and National Quality Standard for continuous improvement in the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care.
Design and implement programs to educate the Early Childhood Education and Care team on legislation and regulations in ECEC services.
Evaluate and apply knowledge of social responsibility, ethics and legal principles while maintaining quality and compliance.
