Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

Critically examine and evaluate the similarities, differences, perspectives and methods of communication in Early Childhood Education and Care contexts.

Critically evaluate and design advanced strategies to build trust, promote wellbeing and provide comprehensive support for diverse stakeholders in complex professional contexts.

Critically analyse and apply effective communication strategies, to lead and advocate for ECEC to stakeholders.

Analyse and apply appropriate conflict resolution strategies with all stakeholders.
