This unit contains Professional Experience Learning activities that may require students to meet mandatory compliance requirements prior to attending. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in you being unable to undertake the Professional Experience Learning activity and thus unable to successfully complete the unit.
Students must seek approval to enrol in this unit following submission of required documentation. See the Engineering Student Centre website for details.
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
work in a team to plan, deliver and communicate an engineering project in a workplace environment
apply engineering management tools and techniques to plan and deliver a project
demonstrate an understanding of the Engineers Australia Code of Ethics and practice competently with integrity in a workplace
reflect on and self-assess development of proficiency in the Engineers Australia Stage 1 Competencies for Engineering Associates
