Please note this unit has assessments scheduled in Week 7 which will require attendance on-campus. Details will be provided closer to the time.
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
evaluate and reflect upon the scientific literature concerning best practices for training adaptations in developing a training plan
examine and apply considerations in training for performance related to acute/chronic adaptations, fatigue, population differences, and novel training methodologies
design, prepare, and present a scientifically sound training plan that considers all aspects of performance

Students should come dressed to train in all tutorial sessions. If attending another class immediately after your scheduled tutorial you should consider bringing a change of clothing – some sessions will be physically demanding.
