Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

describe the application of Aboriginal cultural principles and culturally safe systems to respectfully engage Elders and Traditional Owners who can speak from Country

describe the trauma and conflict potential that accompanies culture and language revitalisation and presentation in colonised space

examine models with Elders and Traditional Owners that ensure respect, ethical sharing, social and emotional wellbeing and familial care in sharing language and culture.
