This unit has a compulsory 5-day residential for internal and online students.
Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
examine the relationships between people, land and environment
discuss and evaluate Indigenous knowledge systems including biocultural diversity and sustainable resource management
analyse and assess the impact and effectiveness of international declarations, Federal and State/Territory laws on Indigenous participation in natural and cultural resource management
