Students are required to attend on-campus classes and participate in online activities.
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
interpret roles and responsibilities of practitioners involved in patient care
illustrate principles of professional conduct in the context of common law, health ethics and regulation
examine foundations of interprofessional communication in defined healthcare settings
apply foundations of patient and public communication in defined healthcare settings
