  • Enrolment information

    For students in the Bachelor of Education Secondary or Technology Specialisations, TCHR2012 Professional Experience II and TCHR2014 Professional Experience III are linked placements undertaken at the same school and normally within the same academic year. Students MUST provide evidence of compliance for all placement requirements prior to attending professional placement. Students must comply with vaccination requirements of the placement providers. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in a fail grade. Full details are available at Only ONE placement can be completed in a Term unless approval has been granted by the Director of Professional Experience.

  • Enrolment restriction

    Students to submit a Unit Approval request via MyEnrolment. Students must have satisfactorily completed both components of the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education (LANTITE) AND Professional Experience for their course progression before enrolling in this unit.

Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
