Unit description

Provides opportunities for students to develop advanced knowledge and critical understanding of religious education in both its conceptual and practical aspects. The unit will challenge students to demonstrate their knowledge of religious education and apply this to a particular setting in which religious education is practised.

Learning outcomes

identify current curriculum models and practices found in various formal religious education documents and guidelines.

analyse and apply contemporary religious education theory and best practice pedagogy to generate learning plans and associated classroom resources.
