Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

Demonstrate proficiency in gathering and recording historical and clinical data on animals across a range of common veterinary species.

apply well-developed knowledge to evaluate animal behaviour and interpret physical examination findings

demonstrate proficiency in accurately recording clinical and client data

integrate and communicate across a range of cultural contexts clinical findings while engaging in reflective practice.
