Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

demonstrate proficiency in professional verbal, written communication and innovative technologies in the context of veterinary practice

demonstrate proficiency in conflict resolution in a range of settings applicable to veterinary practice

apply specialised knowledge of veterinary practice finances to identify deficiencies and recommend remedial action

integrate leadership skills into the veterinary technicians role within a veterinary practice and across a range of cultural contexts, while engaging in reflective practice.
