Major Research Interests. Any area relating to nursing practice and knowledge generation in nursing; Oral histories of influential nurses; Reflective practices in nursing; Holistic health care practices; Effects of human encounters in health care; Finding ways of mobilising people's own healing resources. Preferred Methodologies. Bev uses a wide range of interpretative and critical research methodologies, such as phenomenology, storytelling, ethnographics, action research and feminist research. Nursing/Academic Background. Bev has had a broad variety of practice, education and research experiences in nursing for 26 years. She is a Registered Nurse and Midwife; with a Bachelor of Education; Master of Education; and PhD (Nursing). |
