John Stevens RN, PhD. Trained as a nurse at Prince Henry and Prince of Wales hospitals and undertook his PhD in the School of Sociology Uni NSW. John is the Director of Post Graduate and Corporate Health Education and Development. He manages the Post Graudate Course work portfolio for the School. This includes the 15 Master of Clincal Sscience Awards, the Master of Public Health. This portfolio also inlcudes creating and managing the Continuing Professional Develoment program for the School. John is always after ideas about the sort of short course programs health professions would like SCU to run. John also has research interests in and is supervisiong Phd Students looking at ageing well, lifestyle medicine and improving opportunities for people with dementia and health workforce development. |
