Dr Scott Niblock is the Bachelor of Business and Enterprise and Bachelor of Business Course Coordinator with the Faculty of Business, Law & Arts, Southern Cross University (SCU). He holds a Bachelor of Business with First Class Honours and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Finance from SCU. Dr Niblock is a Lecturer in Financial Services and teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses (both domestically and internationally), such as investments and portfolio management, behavioural finance, and corporate finance. He is also actively involved with Higher Degree Research supervision. His research is driven by financial econometrics using time-series data and other empirical approaches, and is particularly passionate about funds management performance, financial advice seeking and wellbeing, and responsible investing. Dr Niblock has also worked as a private client advisor and wealth manager in the stockbroking industry, gaining high level Australian stock and derivatives accreditation. He has traded in and advised on shares, CFDs, options and warrants during his career.
