Disaster Resilience Curriculum Package

Be prepared and informed with the Disaster Resilience High School Curriculum Package, a collection of lesson outlines aligned to the Australian Curriculum.

The package includes lesson outlines, worksheet briefs, custom-made videos featuring industry and research experts, external educational resources and more. 

They will engage in discussions, activities and research to gain hands-on experience of how they can introduce Disaster Resilience principles into their lives and develop the skills to adapt.

The unit teaches students to apply an entrepreneurial skill set, toolset and mindset to Disaster Resilience. Topics include building a resilient mindset, resilience in nature, First Nations risk management, disaster risk management over time, global perspectives, climate change science, inclusion in risk management, environment and sustainability, government and technology, community recovery and resilience, inspiration and action; and much more. 

This package is designed with student engagement and experience at the forefront to ensure it enables students to develop the skills necessary for their future careers, and the future of our planet.
