For the first time, Southern Cross University is offering prospective students the chance of mid-year enrolment in a range of degree courses available through the Lismore, Coffs Harbour and Tweed campuses.
The enrolment options, with applications to be co-ordinated through the standard UAC and QTAC channels, are for undergraduate courses in the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Indigenous Studies programs in Lismore; the Bachelor of Human Services and Bachelor of Business degrees in Coffs Harbour; and the Bachelor of Business in Tweed.
Applications for the courses are open until 31 May, according to SCU's Admission Manager, Peter Barnard, who said "Mid-year enrolment is a further addition to the flexibility of study arrangements offered by Southern Cross."
Anticipating that the mid-year enrolment system would be expanded next year, he added that it was "an excellent way for students to advance their study timetables by getting some units under their belt before the end of the year".
Mr. Barnard said offers of acceptance through QTAC would be issued in two rounds, on 14 June and 4 July. UAC's offer round will be on 22 June. Prospective postgraduate students can apply direct to Southern Cross University which will forward no-fee application forms on request.
