If you have always dreamed of being able to learn the basics of a foreign language then come along to language conversation classes at Southern Cross University.

The English Language Centre is offering classes in Spanish, German, French, Italian, Chinese (Mandarin) and Japanese at the Lismore campus but get in quick, as registrations close next Friday, March 23.

Courses are for personal enjoyment only. There is no formal qualification or award issued on completion.

The beginners’ classes (introductory, no previous knowledge) will run on Thursdays starting March 29.

The continuation classes (for anyone who has completed a beginners’ level class) will run on Wednesdays, starting March 28.

Classes run over eight weeks, from 5.00pm - 7.00pm. There is a two-week break for the Easter school holidays. The cost is $120 and the classes are open to anyone aged 16 or over.

Classes are ideal for people wanting to travel as they focus on developing usable conversation skills. All teachers are native speakers of the language they teach.
