Last days for Alumnus of the Year nominations

If you know of a graduate of Southern Cross University who is achieving amazing things, there is still time to nominate them for the Alumnus of the Year Awards. Award nominations close next Monday, August 4.

The annual Awards have been established to recognise and honour the outstanding achievements of Southern Cross University alumni and highlight the diversity and quality of the contributions SCU alumni have made to the enrichment of our society.

All of University’s schools and colleges are encouraged to select a candidate as are organisations and businesses which employ Southern Cross University graduates whom they feel stand head and shoulders above the rest and who are making a significant contribution to their community - either in Australia or abroad.

All graduates of Southern Cross or its predecessor institutions are eligible for nomination. All staff, alumni and employers can nominate.

To be eligible for the award, the person being nominated must demonstrate some or all of the following: exceptional leadership and achievement in their field of endeavour; outstanding service to their community; creativity and innovation in ideas or services.
