Presented by Southern Cross University’s Graduate College of Management, the free Business Insight evening will include three guest speakers and an informal meet and greet to give guests the chance to discuss all their business related questions.

Presenters will include Alan Preston, managing director of Cape Byron Imports, a leading watersport wholesaler. Alan has extensive experience in international trade, having worked and lived in Asia for over 10 years.

Alan said that his experience of owning and operating a large distribution company allowed him to offer practical advice to businesses.

He will provide insight on his experiences of owning and operating a large distribution company and provide practical advice on product and channel diversification and international trade. Mr Preston will also discuss the impact of the global credit crunch on Australian importers.

Also on the agenda will be the increasing opportunities for investment in Vietnam’s growing economy.
