Year 12 is a time when most students decide on their path for the future. Everyone wants to be successful and to make the best choices, but accessing the right information at the right time is not always easy.
That’s where Southern Cross University, Charles Sturt University and the University of New England can help. The three universities have combined to go direct to local students via the Regional University Road Show.
Now in its eighth year, the Regional University Road Show visits 110 schools, sharing information with around 4500 students.
Southern Cross University student recruitment officer Meegan McHugh said the Regional University Road Show provided senior high school students with accurate and timely information regarding university education.
“By pooling our resources, Southern Cross University, Charles Sturt University and the University of New England can provide a range of advice covering study options, what courses are available and how to enrol,” Ms McHugh said.
The Regional University Road Show will be visiting schools throughout the Mid North Coast over the next two weeks.
The Road Show will be in:
Grafton on Tuesday, March 10; Coffs Harbour, Wednesday, March 11; Bellingen and Nambucca Heads, Thursday, March 12; Wauchope and Kempsey, Tuesday, March 17; Laurieton and Port Macquarie, Wednesday, March 18; Wingham and Taree, Thursday, March 19; and Great Lakes/Buladehlah, Friday, March 20.
