If your New Year’s resolution was about changing your life and career options by improving your qualifications, then it is the perfect time to enrol at Southern Cross University.

You still have time to apply for a place as offers will be made throughout January and early February.

There are a number of exciting study options covering every possible need for busy people juggling work, friends and family commitments.

Students can study full-time on campus, at home by distance education, part-time while working, or tailor an individual study plan from any of these options.

There are exciting distance education courses in a variety of areas including Business, Arts, Social Science, Law and Tourism.

New courses for 2009 are Occupational Therapy at the new Lakeside Cooloola Drive facility at Tweed Heads and the Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), which is now available at all three campuses at Lismore, Coffs Harbour and Tweed Gold Coast.

People applying for any course should consider having a back-up to their first preference if they think they won’t get into the course they want.

Mature-age students can sometimes be considered for advanced standing based on previous education and work experience.

Applications can be made now through UAC or QTAC or directly through the University for distance education and postgraduate study. Regardless of whether you are a school-leaver or not, the application process is the same.

For further information on course details and how to apply go to scu.edu.au/courses. Email your questions to enquiry@scu.edu.au or phone 1800 626 481.
