Get informed and think fun at Southern Cross University’s 2016 Orientation Week activities.

O-Week is a great time for new and old students to get informed about enrolling for courses, meet staff, navigate the campuses and get involved in university life.

The event kicks off on Monday 22 February and runs until Friday 26 February.
This year the O-Week motto is Think Fun, with a new logo paying homage to our school colours.

An O-Week hashtag, #thinkfunSCU, will also be launched, with students, staff and the wider University community encouraged to get on board and tag social media posts and photos.

O-Week coordinator Anne-Marie Wilkinson said this year’s event would not only showcase the University’s Gold Coast, Lismore and Coffs Harbour campuses, it was also a great chance for students to make new friends and get involved in university life.

“Heading to uni is an exciting time but it can also be a bit daunting,” Ms Wilkinson said.

“At SCU we not only provide students with support and guidance when it comes to choosing subjects, enrolling and finding their way around, we also encourage them to have fun during O-Week.

“Across our three campuses we have jam-packed programs to help our students make new friends and really become part of the University community.”

Students can also access a wealth of information online at the Orientation portal, which contains programs for the Gold Coast, Lismore and Coffs Harbour campuses.

This includes events such as library tours, academic skills workshops and course information sessions across our schools.

Campus tours will also be hosted by our student ambassadors, who can help give new students an insight into university life.

For course enquiries please call our Future Students Team on 1800 626 481.
