Build your creative and digital future

From 2020, you can study our Bachelor degrees in contemporary musicdigital media and communications and information technology at our new Coomera location on the Gold Coast.

Students have the best of modern production facilities at their disposal, including IT labs, four soundproofed rehearsal rooms with vocal PA and backline gear and a live performance space with a full line array sound system and professional lighting rig.

Our main studio is a world-class recording facility with an SSL Duality mixing desk, offering the best in analogue and digital recording. Digital media students access commercial-grade studios, equipment and industry-standard software with the chance to gain on-the-job experience through our strong industry connections.

Our creative and media courses are delivered by practising music and media professionals from the School of Arts and Social Sciences, a multidisciplinary and creative learning community. The University is a sponsor of major music and arts festivals such as the Mullum Music Festival and Byron Writers Festival, which offer great opportunities for work placements and networking.

Our information technology degree is delivered by the School of Business and Tourism and combines academic rigour with contemporary industry practice, giving you the skills to succeed in complex environments.
