Message from Dr Rosie Wickert, Head of Campus

Welcome to Southern Cross University and our innovative, student-oriented Coffs Harbour Campus.

The campus offers excellent support for students, and courses are available in: Arts; Psychology; Social Science; Business Studies; Hotel and Resort Management; Information Technology; Early Childhood Education; Primary Education; Secondary Education; Technology Education, Nursing; a graduate program in Community Development and Emergency Management, and a Marine Science program.

In addition to our high quality degree and diploma courses, staff conduct research in areas related to the teaching courses (such as Psychology, IT and Business), we participate in a Co-operative Research Centre in Desert Knowledge, we have an exciting development in the Aged Services Learning and Research Collaboration (ASLaRC), and we work with the Area Health Services, the North Coast Institute of TAFE, and the University of New South Wales in other projects.

The Students Association at the University is a dynamic, friendly and inclusive group of wonderful people: have a look at their outstanding website which gives you some idea of the richness of university student life at Coffs. This multi-sector campus is a lively and friendly mix, with lots of social and cultural activities.
