The initial focus of the Tweed Heads campus was to provide a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses across the business faculty. Developed in consultation with community and industry, course inclusions such as work placements and internship agreements provide valuable practical experience in producing job-ready graduates. The prestigious postgraduate MBA and DBA programs are offered at Tweed Heads campus. In response to local demand, course offerings have expanded to include specialised study areas such as secondary education, social science and sport management in surfing studies. The surfing studies program now attracts top international surfers, equipping them with the skills to succeed in the business of surfing. Southern Cross University is committed to its local community and is proud of the partnerships contributing to the success of the Tweed Heads campus. In working with business and professional communities, local government on both sides of the New South Wales and Queensland border, and the education sector through local secondary schools, the campus will continue to expand and provide the region with a gateway to the university community of more than 14,000 students.
