Julie Granger is a Barrister at 7 Wentworth Selborne Chambers in Sydney. Before coming to the bar, she was a solicitor, then Senior Associate and finally a Special Counsel in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team of Clayton Utz's Sydney Office, where she commenced her career after graduating from Southern Cross University in 2001. In addition to her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from Southern Cross University, Julie also holds a Graduate Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration through the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Masters of Law (Corporate and Commercial) from UNSW.

She has a wealth of experience assisting commercial clients to resolve their disputes. Julie helps clients resolve disputes relating to all forms of commercial contracts and deeds and the allegations which arise in those contexts including professional negligence, breach of trust, and breach of statutory and fiduciary duties. She has particular expertise in large complex commercial litigation.

Julie is also passionate about giving back to her community and proud to be an alumnus of Southern Cross University. She has been a regular mentor in the Lucy Mentoring Program (a program for disadvantaged women studying Law or Business at a variety of universities in NSW), she co-chaired Clayton Utz's Momentum Committee and was for several years an MS Angel (an executive group of women who raise funds for research into Multiple Sclerosis). In addition to being a member of Council of Southern Cross University she served a number of years on the University's Law School Advisory Committee.

Julie is the Chair of the Audit and Risk Management Committee.
