Linda Smith is a highly experienced senior executive with more than 30 years’ leadership across the Commonwealth, state and not-for-profit sectors. Her career spans organisational transformation, financial stewardship and complex service delivery, with a strong focus on achieving sustainable performance and mission-driven outcomes.

Linda has held Chief Executive Officer roles at the Skin & Cancer Foundation (The Skin Hospital) and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. At the College, she led physician education and strengthened engagement with the Fellowship across Australia and New Zealand, supporting professional standards and workforce development.

Her earlier roles include Chief Executive of the South Metropolitan Area Health Service in Western Australia, Deputy Chief Executive at Customs and Border Protection, Director of Clinical Operations at Northern Sydney/Central Coast Area Health Service, and senior consulting roles with the Roads and Traffic Authority of New South Wales.

Linda brings significant governance experience, having served as a Director and Chair of Disability Services Australia, along with extensive committee and board experience in Australia and internationally. She is recognised for her strategic insight, financial acumen and ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

Linda holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), a Master of Business Administration and an Executive Master of Public Administration. She is a Fellow of CPA Australia and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Originally from the north coast of New South Wales, she now lives in Sydney and on the state's south coast.
