Everyone belongs.

Harmony Week provides an opportunity to acknowledge, learn from and celebrate our diverse communities. It is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians.

Harmony Week is celebrated in March and includes Harmony Day, which falls on 21 March and coincides with the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. The overarching theme for Harmony Week is 'Everyone Belongs'.

At Southern Cross University, Harmony Week encourages students and staff to reflect on the many cultures, languages and experiences that make up our university community. By celebrating these differences, we help build stronger connections, promote intercultural understanding and create a welcoming environment where everyone belongs.
