Make a splash at SCU and build confidence in the water with our fun, beginner-friendly Learn to Swim program!
The Unilife team is proud to announce the Beach & Water Safety Program for this term!
Partnering with Medibank, the Beach & Water Safety Program is designed to teach Southern Cross University students fundamental skills and knowledge on how to stay safe at the beach and how to swim.
The program will feature a Learn to Swim program that runs for 6 weeks during the university term.
When: Term 2 (13 May to 17 June)
Cost: $50 (for 6 weeks). SSAF-paying international students who attend 4 out of 6 classes will receive a $40 rebate.
Location: Goonellabah Sports & Aquatic Centre (GSAC), 50 Oliver Avenue, Goonellabah, NSW 2480 or 1 Wallerawang Dr, Goonellabah NSW 2480

- Please note that classes may be cancelled if there is not enough interest from students to attend the class.
- Please note that students must attend 80% of classes to be eligible to receive the rebate. Those who are unable to attend a session must submit a medical certificate to still be eligible for the rebate.
- Please note that all times are NSW-based time.
