Show Up And Write: get your writing done!

Need focused time to work on your assignments? Join our Show Up And Write session - a structured 120-minute writing session where you can work alongside other students in a supportive online environment.

What to expect:

• Focused writing blocks using the Pomodoro technique

• Supportive, quiet environment

• Professional facilitation by SCU Learning Advisers

• Scheduled breaks

• No pressure to share your work

In the first 15mins, we share what we’re working on, maybe set some individual goals for the session, and get ready to start. Then, we’ll spend around 1.5 hours in silent writing/working time (with breaks to chat and share tips!). During this time, you'll work on your own writing/tasks so please bring your own work with you. There's no need to commit to the whole session if you are short on time.

Duration: 120 minutes (including writing blocks and breaks)

Note: To get the most out of this session, we recommend attending for the full 120 minutes. However, this is not required.

Location: Online

If you register for the online session, the Zoom link will be sent 24 hours before the session.
