Southern Cross University is offering one lucky future student the chance to receive a $15,000 scholarship, through registering and attending Open Day this August.
Chief Marketing Officer Dean Gould said the scholarship was the perfect way to celebrate the University’s 25th Anniversary.
“This unique scholarship is of significant value to someone considering study at Southern Cross, and is a meaningful way for the University to give back to the community we serve,” Mr Gould said.
Southern Cross University Coffs Harbour campus will host a twilight market-style Open Day from 3pm – 7pm on Friday August 16, followed by daytime events at Lismore campus on Saturday August 17, and Gold Coast campus on Sunday August 18, both from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

Open Day 2019 offers an inside look at Southern Cross University, with information sessions, entertainment and tours of the state-of-the-art facilities allowing visitors to explore and imagine life on campus and beyond into their future careers.
Southern Cross University offers degrees in business and tourism, nursing and midwifery, allied health sciences, education, arts and music, humanities and social sciences, law and justice, engineering, marine and environmental science, digital media and IT, Indigenous knowledge and award-winning pathway programs.
New undergraduate programs in 2020 include online engineering degrees and two new engineering courses, a new major in Indigenous Health for Occupational Therapy degrees, a new major in Mental Health in the Bachelor of Social Welfare, and the six-week Transition to Uni offered in January, which offers an alternative pathway to
Southern Cross University for year 12 leavers who didn’t achieve the grades they were hoping for to obtain entry to the Session One intake.
New online postgraduate courses include a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Nursing, a Doctor of Education, and a Graduate Certificate in Organic Food and Nutrition.
To celebrate 25 years the University is also hosting a public exhibition featuring the artistic work of 25 Alumni at Lismore and Gold Coast campuses from 5 August – 1 September, including an exclusive Artist in Conversation session during Open Day at both campuses.
