Southern Cross University’s Early Offer program is designed to make the process of applying for university as a Year 12 student easy and cost-free. Future Students Officers Jaci and Gabi explain what it is and how to apply in this episode of the SCU Buzz podcast.

The Early Offer program is a streamlined application process to Southern Cross University for students in their final year of high school. Designed to make applying for university easy and cost-free, Early Offer applicants benefit from priority scholarship consideration and personalised support.

Upon application, Southern Cross University will reach out to the applicant’s school to receive a recommendation based on their predicted ATAR. Applicants will receive a letter of offer to study in their chosen degree or an alternative entry pathway such as Transition to Uni, Preparing for Success Program or a Diploma.

The Early Offer program is open to Australian Year 12 students. Most Southern Cross University courses are available through an Early Offer. Some courses have additional entry requirements.

Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology student Sienna enrolled at Southern Cross University through the Early Offer program: “It was a huge weight off my shoulders. There was a big sigh of relief and I was able to focus more on my exams,” she said.

Sienna was also the recipient of a Vice-Chancellor Regional Leadership Scholarship.

“It’s been incredible. It has made the transition to university so much easier. I’ve got a lot of financial alleviation. It has covered the cost of textbooks, travel, and it’s allowing me to set myself up for the future.”

Early Offer applications close 30 September 2025. Students will receive an offer on 10 November 2025.
