Study Psychological Science

Our psychology students explore the fascinating field of the human mind at Southern Cross, where we're ranked 5-stars for teaching quality and student support in psychology (Good Universities Guide 2023).

Whether your end goal is a career as a registered psychologist or to work in areas such as disability services, data, human resource management, business, education, health or sports, psychology is a fascinating and diverse field.

Our degrees focus on providing a thorough understanding of the theoretical basis of psychological science, as well as the importance of research and evidence. We cover analytical skills in solving human, organisational and community-wide problems, along with core topics such as social psychology, cross-cultural psychology, abnormal psychology, and biological psychology.

You can also combine more of your interests in a double or combined degree with either Law or Exercise Science.

And thanks to our unique Southern Cross Model of teaching and learning, you will study more cohesively, achieve your milestones faster, and have a clearer pathway to your future career.
