Southern Cross University Alumni may register as Library borrowers free of charge by providing photo ID and proof of Alumni membership at the Library desk. Registration is for a 12-month period and expires on 15 March each year.

Alumni are charged $20 per requested item in addition to the normal rates.
SCU Alumni are eligible for free remote access to the Library databases listed below. Access is via user name and password. User name is your student number (contact the Alumni team firstname.lastname@example.org if you can't remember your student number). Your password is your date of birth, in the format ddmmyyyy.
|CABI Leisure/Tourism database||An index (no full text) of information on all aspects of leisure, tourism, recreation and hospitality. Subject coverage includes the specific industries, policy making, management, travel, transport, sociology, education, community development and ecotourism.|
|Emerald||A database providing content from a leading publisher of business and management research.|
|ProQuest||A multidisciplinary set of databases providing online access to an extensive collection of journals and periodicals across a wide range of subject areas. Many articles are available in full text.|
|LawOne by TimeBase||Contains full-text legislation for the Commonwealth, New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia and the Australian Capital Territory. Commonwealth legislation is updated daily and state legislation is updated weekly. This service also includes full-text repealed legislation for these jurisdictions.|
