Your studies
Help is available for current students who need assistance with enrolling in their units ahead of 2022 classes commencing for Term 1/Session 1 on Monday 7 March.
Southern Cross University Vice President (Students) and Registrar Brendon Nelson encouraged students to begin studies next week where possible, but reminded students they have until census date (March 21 for Term 1 and March 22 for Session 1) if required due to the impacts of flooding in the region.
“For any students who are unable to start studies on Monday 7 March, you can contact you Unit Assessor via blackboard and can seek special considerations for any assessments,” Mr Nelson said.
“You don’t need to withdraw. Students have until census date to withdraw without financial or academic penalty if it becomes necessary for them to drop any classes.”
Current domestic and international students can now enrol by finding their course progression on the website, checking unit availabilities on the Study Plans tab in My Enrolment, and choosing the units that they plan to study. The Session 1, Term 1 and 2 2022 Timetable is available and Class registration is open for any students who have residentials or workshops.
“If you’re not sure where to start, visit the Managing your enrolment page for information on enrolling in units, changing your enrolment or withdrawing from units. For assistance contact us on 1800 005 687, enquiry@scu.edu.au or chat to us on our SCU website webchat,” Mr Nelson said.
Any current student who have not re-enrolled in two consecutive teaching periods will be withdrawn from their course, but may be eligible to take a leave of absence which can be applied for in My Enrolment.
More information on 2022 Key Dates and the Teaching Calendar is available here.
Commencing students who are yet to enrol or who still need to accept their offer of study can visit www.scu.edu.au/current-students/new-students/ to accept an offer, enrol in units, prepare for studies and sign up for Orientation.
For new students who have any questions or need help enrolling student advisors are here for you every step of the way. Please email futurestudent@scu.edu.au or book a call-back at a time that suits you.
