30th Anniversary Academic Excellence Scholarship

Students’ eligibility for Scholarships will be assessed by the Southern Cross admissions team at the time of application to Southern Cross.  If you are successful, we will advise you in your Letter of Offer, along with the conditions of the Scholarship.    

No separate application is required.

Students wishing to apply for the 30th Anniversary Academic Excellence Scholarship are required to satisfy the following criteria:  

1. Be a new international student starting an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree in Term 3, July intake 2024 at Gold Coast, Lismore, or Coffs Harbour campus. (Excludes quota programs Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood, Master of Nursing and Bachelor of Nursing.) 
2. Have a high academic achievement above the minimum admission requirements of the University. Academic qualifications will be assessed by the Southern Cross admissions team when you apply to Southern Cross University. 
3. Study on a student visa 
4. Pass all your units in each term and meet the program and student visa requirements. 
5. Apply between Friday 1st March and Wednesday 1st May at 12 pm and accept your offer before 31 May 2024. 
6. Not hold any other Southern Cross University scholarships. 
7. Be aware that this scholarship is limited to 100 places. 
8. Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents are not eligible. 

Note: The Scholarship value is $15,000 fee reduction in first year and $8,000 fee reduction in subsequent years this is based on 8 units per year for full-time international students. 

This scholarship is for international fee-paying students only. It does not apply to programs offered through SCU Ventures, The Hotel School, or Keypath Education.
