Online Training Programs

At Southern Cross University, online learning is designed to be flexible, accessible, and relevant to your role - whether you’re completing mandatory training or exploring new skills.

All online training is available through Scout, SCU’s staff learning platform.

Access Scout to:

  • Complete mandatory training
  • Explore curated learning pathways
  • Access LinkedIn Learning content
  • Track your training history in one place

Some training is required for all staff or specific roles to support compliance, safety, and best practice.

Examples include:

  • Responding to disclosures of sexual violence
  • Staff selection and interview skills

LinkedIn Learning (via Scout)

All staff have access to LinkedIn Learning, integrated directly into Scout.

This means you can:

  • Access thousands of short, high-quality courses
  • Follow structured learning paths or dip into topics as needed
  • Have your learning tracked alongside SCU training

LinkedIn Learning is a great starting point if you’re exploring a new area before committing to further development.
