The Digital Enterprise Lab connects entrepreneurs, practitioners, researchers, students and educators to create a vibrant community of engagement. The Lab organises three types of seminars and workshops to reach the frontiers of being Digital First!

Entrepreneurs Circle

Entrepreneurship is considered the backbone and lifeblood of any economy. Entrepreneurs have passion, vigour and the stamina to drive their ideas to create flourishing businesses that benefit entire communities. The fearless entrepreneur takes substantial risks for the sake of creating a new idea. Entrepreneurs provide hope and resilience against global challenges like COVID-19.

The Entrepreneurs Circle provides a networking platform for the practitioners, budding entrepreneurs, researchers, students and communities to understand the journey of an entrepreneur. In each inspiring discussion, you will hear a unique story of an entrepreneur – the trials and tribulations of their triumphant journey.

‘Digital First’ Seminar Series

The Digital First seminar series brings industry partners closer with the researchers, academics, and students to find pathways to address industry pain-points, arrive at efficiencies and overall to make our workplaces more enjoyable.

The ‘Legends’ Research Seminars

The Legends series brings the most revered academic thought leaders to share their experience, expertise and wisdom with the Australian researchers and practitioners.

It is the first time this mystery of writing papers, publishing requirements of academia has been described to me. I have worked now as a senior lecturer in social work for 7 years and nearing completion of my PhD. It certainly demystifies things. It would seem that such knowledge is not so generously shared in my neck of the woods. I will tune in for further sessions if I am available.

  • It was a golden opportunity for me to join with this workshop series. I learnt a lot from the workshops that had so far. I had no proper idea/knowledge of doing research or paper publication stuff before joining this workshop and I am learning day by day. Thank you very much, Prof. Darshana, for sharing your knowledge with us and providing us this opportunity. I like the way you explain things with examples. It is really simple to understand. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge with us.

  • Specially, as an early career researcher, the discussion on various theoretical avenues, as well as theory application gave me insights as well as clarifications on rethinking how I looked at theories before. The metaphors of the tiled floor, as well as the roller-coaster, were great as it helped to grab the ideas more firmly.
