Special studies program

Special Studies Program provides eligible academic staff with release from normal duties and access to financial assistance in order to enhance their research productivity, teaching practice, professional practice, artistic development and/or qualifications.

Special Studies Program Policy and Special Studies Procedures outline the framework and principles by which the program operates, including eligibility requirements. As part of the Special Studies Program process, reports are received from the Research Office on research outputs and provided to the Committee. Applicants are encouraged to contact the Research Office to review their research outputs and provide updates as needed prior to the close date.
