Using Specification Grading and Feedback  in Formative Sprints

Presenter: Dr Anna Lidfors Lindqvist, UTS

This workshop explores how specification grading can be embedded into a sprint-based learning structure to strengthen student feedback literacy and accountability. By aligning formative assessments with clear specifications, students gain transparency in expectations while building ownership of their learning.
The approach highlights the role of iterative feedback within short, agile sprints, fostering reflective practice and skill development. Workshop participants will gain insights into how this model promotes consistency in assessment, supports professional skill growth, and enhances the overall student learning experience.

Audience: Academic Staff

Please note: Register for this workshop in Scout and the workshop Zoom details will be provided in the Scout confirmation email.

Moderator: Zach Quince, Centre for Teaching and Learning team member.
