At Southern Cross University, our degrees provide a pathway to professional registration in the in-demand areas of social work, human services, social policy and analysis, counselling and research. 

With an emphasis on social justice and human rights, our Bachelor of Community Welfare graduates undergo 400 hours of supervised on-the-job training as part of strong practical foundations for work in the human services sector, while Bachelor of Social Work graduates complete 1,000 hours of supervised placements.

Faculty of Health

Fostering capable and creative practitioners, researchers and scientists. The Faculty of Health offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in a range of health disciplines. Many courses include professional placements for students to gain first-hand experience in the workplace. Professional experience placements require students to fulfil certain pre-requisites prior to attending placement.
