English for Academic Purposes (EAP)

English for Academic Purposes (EAP) is the perfect unit to help you prepare yourself for study at Southern Cross University. EAP will help you build on your existing English language abilities in reading, writing, speaking and listening. This unit will also help you develop your academic and digital literacy practices, including researching, referencing, note-taking, using the Southern Cross University Learning Management System and giving presentations.

SCU College’s General English unit will help you develop your English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills while focusing on communicative English. Our team will help you develop your language skills for use in real-life contexts including work and travel.

Southern Cross University offers some bespoke, non-pathway English language programs online for partner institutions.

These fulltime programs (20 hours per week) run for 10 weeks each year for groups of greater than 20.
