Traineeships and apprenticeships

Southern Cross University recognises its role within the community to provide opportunities for people to gain work experience and formal training in the workplace.

Traineeships and apprenticeships are an important and valuable resource for us.

They are:

• Jobs that combine work and structured training;
• Available in a range of areas. The most popular being: human resources, business administration, laboratory operations, financial services, and technology services;
• Administered jointly by the University and local Group Training Organisations (GTOs); and
• Are offered for a specified period.
