Jack Williamson
Jack Williamson is Vice-President (Strategy and Technology) at Southern Cross University, with responsibility for the University’s Strategy function, Campus Strategic Planning and Development, Technology Services, and its commercial laboratories, including the Environmental Analysis Laboratory (EAL) and the Analytical Research Laboratory (ARL).
Born and raised in the Northern Rivers, Jack brings a strong connection to the region and a deep commitment to the University’s role in supporting the social and economic development of its communities. He continues to play a key leadership role in the development and delivery of the SCU Lismore Masterplan, supporting the long-term resilience, sustainability, and future growth of the Lismore campus.
Jack began his career as an engineer with BHP before transitioning into management consulting with Bain & Company, where he worked with organisations across Australia and Europe on strategy and transformation initiatives. He brings a blend of technical expertise, strategic insight, and commercial acumen to his executive leadership role.
Jack holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from London Business School.
