Jack Williamson
Jack Williamson is Vice-President (Finance and Technology) at Southern Cross University, leading the University's Finance and Technology portfolios. His responsibilities include strategic financial oversight, Technology Services, digital transformation, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, campus planning and development, and the University's commercial laboratories, including the Environmental Analysis Laboratory (EAL) and the Analytical Research Laboratory (ARL).
Born and raised in the Northern Rivers, Jack brings a strong connection to the region and a deep commitment to the University's role in supporting the social and economic development of its communities. He is focused on strengthening the University's financial sustainability and digital capability, ensuring the systems, services and investment decisions that underpin an outstanding student and staff experience.
Jack began his career as an engineer with BHP before transitioning into management consulting with Bain & Company, where he worked with organisations across Australia and Europe on transformation, operational improvement and organisational performance initiatives. He brings a blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen and change leadership to his executive role, helping position the University for long-term success in a rapidly evolving higher education environment.
Jack holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from London Business School.
