Primex Field Days

As PRIMEX enters a new era, Southern Cross University continues its proud support of Primex Field Days, one of Australia’s leading agricultural events from 21 to 23 May 2026 at the Lismore Showgrounds. The event attracts over 430 exhibitors, 1,200 suppliers and brands, and more than 30,000 visitors. PRIMEX is a dynamic hub of innovation, connection and opportunity for the primary industries.

From 2026, PRIMEX is held at the Lismore Showgrounds in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales, reflecting the event’s evolution and renewed focus under the theme Growing the Future. Through a network of Industry Hubs spanning machinery, agtech, livestock, business, sustainability, education and regional enterprise, PRIMEX brings together farmers, businesses, community leaders and families to showcase the innovation, collaboration and capability shaping the future of agriculture and regional communities.

Southern Cross University has proudly partnered with PRIMEX as its official education partner since 2021, delivering the NextGen program - an initiative connecting students with real-world experiences and pathways. The program provides direct access to schools across the region, helping to inspire and support the next generation of leaders in the primary industries.

Now in its 42nd year, PRIMEX continues to attract national and international attention, positioning the Northern Rivers as a key meeting point for agriculture and regional industry.
