Get ready for uni with an Open Day scholarship worth $15,000!

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Southern Cross University, we are offering one lucky future student the chance to receive a scholarship worth $15,000.

To enter, just fill in the registration form. 20 entries will be selected at random and invited to submit a 200-word response or a 90-second video, answering the question: ‘Why do you want to study at Southern Cross University?’

The best response will receive a scholarship to study at Southern Cross University of $5,000 per year, paid over three years for a total value of $15,000. The recipient will be announced on 9 September 2019.

Coffs Harbour Open Day

Set on 30 acres of rolling hills and bushland in close proximity to beaches and the city centre, our Coffs Harbour campus is a welcoming environment equipped with contemporary teaching facilities.

The University is part of an education and technology precinct and is co-located with North Coast TAFE (a technical and further education facility) a senior high school, and the Coffs Harbour Innovation Hub.

Lismore Open Day

Southern Cross University’s Lismore campus occupies 75 hectares of lush, sub-tropical grounds including landscaped gardens and rainforest walkways that are home to a variety of native wildlife.

At the heart of student life is the Learning Centre, a state-of-the-art facility with individual and collaborative learning spaces and library resources.

The adjacent Goodman Plaza is home to food and beverage outlets, Co-op bookshop, banking facilities and a range of student services. Lismore's vibrant arts, culture and music scene includes signature Byron Bay events such as the Byron Writers Festival, Splendour in the Grass, Fall Music and Arts Festival and Byron Bay Blues Fest.

Southern Cross University's Gold Coast campus is located at Coolangatta just 400 metres from North Kirra Beach, and adjacent to the Gold Coast Airport.

Views of the Pacific Ocean can be seen from many vantage points in the campus buildings.

The Gold Coast is the sixth largest city in Australia with a population of more than half a million people. Sport and entertainment, including major theme parks, are part of the relaxed lifestyle
