The Yulgilbar Foundation is a family run Private Ancillary Fund and was established in 2001 by Baillieu and Sarah Myer. The Yulgilbar Foundation’s area of focus is rural, regional and remote Australia and more specifically, on education, environment and capacity building. The family have had a long-standing involvement in the rural industry, particularly in Northern NSW and we are passionate to see rural and regional Australia prosper.

Studying any undergraduate degree at Southern Cross University at Coffs Harbour or Lismore Campuses.

$9,000 per year for 3 year.

Essential Selection Criteria
Applicants applying for the Yulgilbar Foundation Scholarship must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
Applications will be evaluated on:
- Applicants must reside within the Clarence Valley Council areas (e.g. Iluka, Yamba, Ulmarra, Wooli, Maclean and Grafton).
- Qualify for admission and be enrolled in a full-time in an on-campus undergraduate degree at the Coffs Harbour or Lismore campuses at Southern Cross University in 2020.
- The applicant must provide a personal introductory statement (100–200 words) which includes why they are applying for the scholarship and what they hope to achieve in the future through the completion of their chosen degree.
Other Selection criteria
- In addition, a student’s experience of disadvantage may be considered.
