Academic Integrity

Academic integrity encompasses the practice of acting honestly and fairly when engaging in learning, teaching and research.

At SCU, we value academic integrity. We highlight to students from the start of their studies that integrity involves honesty, trust, fairness, respect, and responsibility. For students this often means making sure that they have provided their own work, and have acknowledged the work of others and not claimed it as their own. For academics there is a high expectation that academic integrity will be inherent in your teaching and research. It is imperative that you maintain academic integrity which includes understanding and acknowledging copyright and potential plagiarism.
