Unit description
Investigates pedagogical theory relating to the teaching of games and sports. Students will explore effective pedagogy in the teaching of games through a Game Centred Approach, Game Sense and Teaching Games for Understanding (TGFU). Students will explore a range of sports, how they align with the Game Sense categories and the best practice for teaching games and sports.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to: | |

4 | identify and demonstrate knowledge, understanding and skills relating to teaching games and sports with appropriate curriculum links to the PDHPE Syllabus |
On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
